Who is responsible for your information?

JHA Automotive is responsible for the personal information submitted through this website. You can contact the workshop at contact@jhaautomotive.co.uk, by calling 07784 091368, or by writing to Meadow Road, Milking Nook, Peterborough PE6 7QG.

Information you choose to send

The booking and enquiry forms ask for your name, email address, phone number, vehicle registration, the service you are interested in and your message. Some service forms also ask for a postcode, vehicle make or model and preferred contact method. Please do not include payment-card details, medical information or other unnecessary sensitive information in the message box.

How the information is used

JHA Automotive uses these details to understand your enquiry, contact you, discuss the vehicle, arrange or manage a booking and keep an appropriate record of the conversation. The information is used because you have asked the workshop to take steps before providing a service and because responding to genuine customer enquiries is a legitimate business interest.

Email delivery and website hosting

The website is hosted by Vercel. Form notifications and customer acknowledgements are delivered through a private Google Apps Script and the workshop's Google email service. These providers process only the information needed to host the site or deliver the message. The website does not sell enquiry details and does not use them for unrelated marketing.

How long information is kept

Enquiry information is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, manage any resulting work and meet relevant accounting, legal or record-keeping requirements. Messages that do not lead to work may be deleted sooner. Access is limited to the workshop and the service providers needed to operate the website and email delivery.

Your rights

You may ask for access to your personal information, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, or ask whether it can be deleted or its use restricted. You may also object to certain uses. Email contact@jhaautomotive.co.uk with your request. If you remain unhappy, you can raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
